Starlit Adventures is an action platform game for Android, iPhone and iPad, with an Xbox edition. You guide Bo and Kikki through the Lower Lands to recover stars stolen by Nuru. Finding those stars involves fighting enemies, collecting treasure and solving puzzles with suits that give the characters different powers.
The main adventure and score challenges
The main adventure contains 64 stages across eight worlds. Each world introduces its own enemies and puzzles, with a boss guarding the end. The stolen stars give Bo and Kikki an objective across these stages, while treasures provide another reason to explore their surroundings.
Starlit Adventures also rewards play beyond simply reaching the end of a stage. Collecting treasure and making combos contribute to scores that you can compare with friends.
Special suits
Bo and Kikki have nine upgradable special suits. Each provides a different power, so your choice of suit changes how you tackle a level’s enemies and puzzles. Returning to stages with another suit lets you play through the same surroundings using different abilities.
The suits can alter attacks as well as appearance. On Xbox, for example, the optional Golden Dragon Suit breathes fireballs and transforms enemies into balloons. It is a paid add-on for the base game. Starlit Adventures is free to play, with optional purchases that include suits and tokens.
Infinite Tower and Challenge Mode
The Infinite Tower replaces the story’s sequence of stages with a distance challenge. The objective is to get farther through the tower, then compare how far you reached with friends.
Challenge Mode opens additional stages beyond the main adventure. The Xbox edition includes more than 144 challenges alongside its story stages and tower.
Sticker album
Starlit Adventures has a sticker collection alongside its platforming objectives. Packs collected through the game supply stickers for an album, and trading with friends provides another way to work toward completing it. This collection is separate from the stars and treasures gathered during stages.
Playing on mobile or Xbox
The mobile editions use controls designed for touchscreens. A Facebook login allows saved progress to synchronize across devices.
On Xbox, Starlit Adventures supports single-player play and local multiplayer, including cooperation for two to four players.
