Qustodio (pronounced kwost-dio) is a parental control software that enables parents to easily monitor the apps and sites their children are accessing online, block content from certain sites, set device time limits, track locations, log calls/messages as well as log calls and messages across platforms such as iOS/Android mobile phones, PC/Mac computers, Kindle tablets as well as school-owned devices – features may differ depending on platforms/device combination; therefore it is recommended that consumers cross check compatibility before making any purchases.
App Features
Qustodio parent mode app features an intuitive user interface and clean design, making it simple and straightforward to navigate. Furthermore, it offers several updates and alerts so that you can monitor activity in real-time or opt for weekly reports instead.
Qustodio provides an effective means of keeping children from becoming too dependent on technology – something which I have never witnessed from any competitor product. When your kids reach their device or app usage threshold, Qustodio notifies them they have reached it and prompts them to relaunch apps or stop using devices altogether. I haven’t seen this feature anywhere else! It provides peace of mind while protecting young minds.
Daily Limits
Set daily time limits to more effectively control your child’s screen time than simply setting one allowance each week. Plus, set specific Routines that block or pause Internet access at specific windows throughout the day such as Bedtime (blocks all access), Entertainment, Focus or Study time slots.
Monitor children’s search
Qustodio also gives you comprehensive details of your child’s online activity, including which sites they visit, for how long, and the top apps/websites that they’ve viewed. Furthermore, you can see which words your kids search online as well as view videos they’ve watched; furthermore you can customize which apps/websites to monitor.
Location
Qustodio can also give you a bird’s-eye view of your child’s location with a live map on their screen, showing their past locations as well as whether or not they are on school property.
In case your child is in danger, they can use the Qustodio app’s Panic Button to instantly send out an emergency alert message and locate themselves instantly via an instant broadcast feature; notifications will continue until deactivated via the web portal.
