Description

Opera conducted research that revealed people felt overwhelmed by the number of tabs open in their browsers and desired more from their browser to help manage them. That insight led them to create Opera One – a new take on its browser which is being released as early access today.

Aria, which can be accessed via command line and sidebar, is the first browser with integrated native AI that can be accessed using command-line access and sidebar. Based on OpenAI’s GPT engine, this feature offers additional capabilities that help users in tasks like finding information online, creating text or code generation or answering product-related inquiries.

Pressing Ctrl+/ on Windows and cmd+/ on Mac brings up a text prompt where you can enter your questions directly, or more subtly use the AI Feature Drops button that appears as a subtle overlay beside browsing contents and allows natural-language questioning of Aria, which understands your natural language to respond with contextual responses in context to your query. Aria integrates nicely with Opera’s AI Prompts feature that lets you trigger prompts by right-clicking or highlighting text on websites to bring forth prompts when needed – Aria understands your natural language queries to generate responses tailored directly related to your query!
